PatientWing HTML Widgets


Add PatientWing HTML widgets to your web pages and let your web visitors apply to participate in studies and follow your PatientWing profiles. Our widgets can be added to any HTML page that supports iframe tags.

How to Use HTML Widgets

If you have direct access to the HTML of a page, and your page is hosted on a website that supports iframes, you can paste the embed code that you get from the Follow Button or Apply Now Button generator directly into the page’s HTML. You need to paste it into your web page somewhere between the tags body and /body. (Some blogging and social media systems provide you with an “HTML” view that you can switch to to paste the link.)

When the user Click

When visitors to your website who are logged in to PatientWing click a Follow button, the organization or study is added to the profiles they are folloPatientWing.

  • If your visitor does not have a PatientWing account, they will be asked if they wish to create one (either directly or through Facebook).
  • If they do have a PatientWing account, but they are not logged in, they will be prompted to do so (either directly or through Facebook).

Apply Now Button


Add PatientWing Apply Now buttons to your study pages so your web visitors can apply to participate in your studies online using PatientWing application. It’s great for organizations who want to accept online applications through PatientWing.

Putting Apply Now buttons on your study website can streamline your application process and increase the number of patients. Here is a typical Apply Now button with your study profile:

When the user Click

When visitors to your website who are logged in to PatientWing click an Apply Now button, they will be navigated to your PatientWing study profile. If the user is not logged into their PatientWing account, they will be prompted to login or sign up.

  • If your visitor does not have a PatientWing account, they will be asked if they wish to create one (either directly or through Facebook).
  • If they do have a PatientWing account, but they are not logged in, they will be prompted to do so (either directly or through Facebook).
